Monterey Bay Military Housing, LLC, United Way and the Garrison Command

Every Friday The Parks at Monterey Bay participates in “Live United Friday’s” casual dress, in support of United Way of Monterey County. Employees get to dress casually by simply donating $5.00 and wearing a button that briefly explains the program. The funds raised will help elementary aged children improve on reading scores in the Monterey area.

Monterey Bay Military Housing, LLC and The Warrior Transition Command

Pinnacle, LLC is proud to participate in The Warrior Transition Command's "Wounded Warrior Program". Every Wednesday The Parks at Monterey Bay participates in Casual Wednesday in support of the Wounded Warrior Program. A $5.00 donation is collected from each employee that participates. On Thursday, April 15, 2010, Mr Drolet, who happens to be a resident in Marshall Park accepted the check from Pinnacle on behalf of Warrior Transition Command. Mr. Drolet also had many great things to say about Pinnacle's maintenance service and OMC office staff.

First Residents of Doe Park Accepts Home

SSGT Gerard & Heather Webber, and children, Andrew, Isaac, Zachary, and Analise were welcomed into their new home by Monterey Bay Military Housing staff on February 18th, 2010. A kitchen stocked with food donated from AAFES and vendors was a surprise to the family of six. This is the family’s second tour to Monterey, when they were stationed here prior they recall the “Boarded up eye sore to the community” formally known as the “Kidney.” The Webber family was extremely excited to be the first occupant of a brand new home in the newly established community known as Doe Park.

To date, seven of the new homes have been occupied in Doe Park, with an additional two hundred seventy-seven homes to be accepted and occupied as they are completed on a weekly basis across the next few months. (photos below)

Monterey Bay Military Housing, LLC - Pinnacle Receives Navy Housing Award

On February 3rd, 2010 the annual Navy Housing Awards Ceremony was held in Atlanta, Georgia. As an advocate of quality, safe, and comfortable housing for all branches of the Military, the Navy organized the event to reflect on its successes and acknowledge partners and providers who have excelled in serving Service members and their families living on Navy property.

Monterey Bay Military Housing LLC, a public private venture, including the U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy, and the Clark Pinnacle Family Communities LLC was the first joint service partnership to be recognized at the annual Navy Housing Awards Ceremony for receiving an "A List" award for family housing on U.S. Navy land at The Parks at Monterey Bay.

Resident Sean Morey of Lower Stilwell Wins One Months Free Rent

On January 20, 2010 resident Sean Morey received a surprise visit at class from The Parks at Monterey Bay team. The CEL & Associates Resident satisfaction survey (REACT) was distributed to residents throughout December; each resident had the chance to win one month’s free rent by submitting an anonymous survey. Upon the closing the survey a drawing was completed to award Mr. Morey the one month’s free rent.
